MEET JOANNA
Hi, I’m Joanna.
During my 20-year career at Boston Children’s Hospital, I held senior leadership roles across Surgery, Neurosurgery, and Strategy and Innovation. One of the most meaningful parts of that work was recognizing potential in people, sometimes before they could see it in themselves, and helping them grow into it.
I learned that effective leadership meant seeing people for who they were, understanding what mattered to them, recognizing their strengths, and creating the conditions for them to thrive.
Over time, I found myself advising less and exploring more, creating space for leaders to hear themselves think and trust what they discover. That work became the foundation of Aperture Coaching.
